Please note that the drive-thru window will be closing early at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31st (New Year's Eve) in observance of the New Year holiday.   Our office will remain closed through Thursday, January 1st, 2026, and will re-open on Friday, January 2nd at 8:00 a.m.

Monday: 8:00-4:30

Tuesday: 8:00-4:30

Wednesday 8:00-4:30pm (walk-in) Drive-thru only is open until 5:30pm on Wednesday for registration renewals.

Thursday 8:00-4:30

Friday 8:00-4:30

In an effort to better serve the citizens of Burnet County, the Tax Assessor Collector's office is extending our drive through hours every Wednesday. Our drive through will stay open until 5:30 for vehicle registrations. Car title needs must still be handled at the counter inside the office during normal business hours.
