ANNOUNCEMENTS

Burnet County Court at Law will be closed July 27-31, 2020

County Court at Law is currently available for ALL hearing types via Zoom online.

Zoom is an online meeting program where all parties involved with the case can appear by video or telephone at the same time.

The day before the scheduled hearing, you will receive a link to join the Zoom Meeting at your scheduled hearing time via email. This can be done from any device with a camera: cell phone, laptop, desktop or tablet. Video participation is preferred, however, in the event that none of those devices is available to attorneys and/or clients, telephone participation will be allowed.

Valid email addresses for all parties and attorneys should be submitted to the court coordinator at least 24 hours before the scheduled hearing.

All proposed documents should be efiled 48 hours before the hearing.

Any proposed exhibits should be emailed to the court prior to hearing.

A list of witnesses (with email addresses) should be sent to coordinator prior to hearing.

Please keep in mind that while this is an unconventional hearing method it is still a formal court proceeding and all parties will be expected to dress and act accordingly.

Contact Jayme Ingram to schedule a hearing.
